Calling all music lovers and festival goers! Here are 10 Arizona music festivals to look forward to in 2025.
Arizona music fans will have plenty to look forward to in 2025. Music festivals will abound in the new year. Some of your favorite bands and artists will likely swing through town, and you’ll have chances to hear them play live. We’ve rounded up some of the largest ones that are coming to the Grand Canyon state over the next 12 months.
Please note that although the ticket prices listed in this article are accurate as of press time, ticket prices can and do change. Many (if not all) of these festivals have individual bag policies and are strict about enforcing what you can and cannot bring in. Be sure to check these out before you head out the door. But above all, enjoy the music!
1. Coors Light Birds Nest
When: Feb. 5 to 8.
Where: 82nd Street and Bell Road, across from the main entrance of the WM Phoenix Open
Cost: As of press time, general admission ticket prices start at $150
Headliners: Jelly Roll, Luke Bryan, Nickelback and Swedish House Mafia
Need to Know: Coors Light Birds Nest is a 21 and older venue
The Coors Light Birds Nest coincides with one of the Valley’s biggest events, the WM Phoenix Open. Music fans head to a tent in North Scottsdale to hear top musicians take the stage. This year, they can hear country artists Jelly Roll and Luke Bryan. Rock act Nickelback will perform. The event closes out with EDM stars Swedish House Mafia. Much like the Open, the Birds Nest is known for its party atmosphere.
Fun fact: Proceeds from the Birds Nest and the Open benefit Arizona charities. Since the Open’s beginning, it has raised more than $160 million for local nonprofits.
2. The Innings Festival, The Extra Innings Festival
When: The Innings Festival, Feb. 21 to 22; Extra Innings Festival, Feb. 28 to March 1
Where: Tempe Beach Park & Arts Park, 80 W. Rio Salado Pkwy. in Tempe
Cost: Two-day general admission tickets cost $275
Weekend One Headliners: Fall Out Boy, The Killers
Weekend Two Headliners: The Lumineers, Kacey Musgraves, and Kings of Leon
The Innings Festival is a celebration of music and baseball. It tends to coincide with spring training, and many former pro ball players will be in attendance. Music fans can gather by Tempe Beach Park, where they can enjoy the sunshine and plenty of live tunes across three stages. Expect to hear Americana, country, and indie music. Guests can practice their swings at batting cages and enjoy plenty of local food vendors and beverage vendors like High West and Tito’s Handmade Vodka. The festival will take place over two separate weekends this year.
3. Country Thunder
When: April 10 to 13
Where: Canyon Moon Ranch, 20585 E. Water Way in Florence
Cost: Four-day general admission tickets cost $275 plus fees. Campsites must be purchased separately. As of press time, only glamping tents are available
Headliners: Riley Green, Keith Urban, Hardy and Bailey Zimmerman
Every spring, country fans flock to Florence in the South Valley to listen to some of the genre’s biggest stars perform. The festival has a strong following. As of press time in early December, all but the glamping campsites are all sold out. Plenty of people camp out here for all three days. General admission ticket holders can bring their own chairs and blankets. Attendees should expect a lively experience. Don’t forget your cowboy boots and hats!
4. M3F Festival
When: March 7 and 8
Where: Steele Indian School Park, 300 E Indian School Road in Central Phoenix
Cost: Two-day general admission tickets start at $175 plus fees
Headliners: LCD Soundsystem and Justice
The tagline for the M3F Festival is “music and arts festival for charity,” which says it all. All the proceeds from this festival benefit local charities. Festival-goers also anticipate checking out art installations created by local artists. Attendees can also look forward to a skate park, vendor village, family zone, cocktail bar, and plenty of festival fare at this truly local music festival.
5. KNIX’s The Smoke Show
When: March 22
Where: Gilbert Regional Park, 3005 E. Queen Creek Road in Gilbert
Cost: Not available as of press time
Headliners: Not available as of press time
Local country radio station KNIX 102.5 is slated to host The Smoke Show—part of The Boots in the Park—in March. Attendees can look forward to barbeque and country music. Visit the festival’s website to sign up, learn the lineup, and access presale tickets.
6. Phoenix Lights
When: April 4 to 5
Cost: Not available as of press time
Location: Typically held at the Phoenix Raceway, 7602 Jimmie Johnson Drive in Avondale
Need to know: You must be 18 or older to attend Phoenix Lights
Phoenix Lights is an EDM-centric festival that takes place over two days at Phoenix Raceway. This year’s full title is Phoenix Lights Solar Sound System. Although the 2025 headliners haven’t been announced yet, Kaskade was one of the headliners last year.
7. Reggae Rise Up Arizona 2025
When: April 4 to 6
Where: Tempe Beach Park & Arts Park, 80 W. Rio Salado Pkwy. in Tempe
Cost: Single-day general admission ticket prices start at $65
Headliners: Dirty Head, Wiz Khalifa, Damian Marley, Iration, Rebelution, Soja
Reggae Rise Up will make its debut in Arizona in 2025. The festival is also located in Florida, Maryland, Oregon, Utah, and Las Vegas. Attendees can look forward to plenty of reggae music (naturally) in addition to immersive art installations, interactive activities, and local craft and food vendors.
8. Breakaway
When: April 18 to 19
Where: Sloan Park, 2330 West Rio Salado Parkway in Mesa
Cost: Ticket prices start at $69
Headliners: Not available as of press time
Breakaway touts itself as the largest traveling music festival in the country. It started in Ohio in 2013 and has since expanded to cities across the country. Although the lineup is not yet available, Breakaway typically features dance and hip-hop music.
9. Desert Hearts Festival 2025
When: July 3 to 7
Where: Playa Ponderosa in Flagstaff
Cost: Pre-sale tickets have sold out, but more tickets are slated to be released in the coming weeks
Headliners: Not available as of press time
Head up to the Ponderosa pine forest of Flagstaff to experience 72 hours of house and techno music over the Fourth of July weekend. This is the festival’s second year in existence. Desert Hearts is a collaboration between Walter Productions and Desert Hearts. Attendees can also look forward to art installations, a healing sanctuary where they can enjoy sound baths, workshops that can include yoga classes, and vendors selling handcrafted goods. RV and tent campsites are available. There’s just one stage, and one of the festival’s taglines is “one stage, one vibe.”
10. Pickin’ in the Pines 2025
When: Sept. 12 to 14
Where: Pepsi Amphitheater at Ft. Tuthill Country Park in Flagstaff
Cost: Not available as of press time
Headliners: Not available as of press time; the lineup is scheduled to be announced on Feb. 15, 2025
Held in Flagstaff annually, Pickin’ in the Pines is a music festival that celebrates bluegrass and acoustic music. Attendees also can anticipate hearing Celtic, gypsy, jazz, and old-time music too.
Arizona music festivals to keep an eye on
Although the 2025 dates haven’t been announced yet, these are some other Arizona music festivals that should be on your radar.
Form Arcosanti
Held at the experimental architectural community of Arcosanti just off Interstate 17, Form Arcosanti is a storied music festival in the Grand Canyon state. It almost always sells out. Beck headline festival this past October. No matter who plays, the setting is truly one-of-a-kind.
Gem & Jam Festival
According to its website, Tucson’s Gem & Jam Festival has found itself in, well, a jam. The festival is slated to return from Feb. 6 to 8, 2026, at the Pima Fairgrounds. If you purchased tickets to the 2025 festival, you can fill out a form to get a refund.
Dusk Music Festival
Tucson’s Dusk Music Festival is a “two-day music, art and culinary festival.” Although the specific 2025 dates haven’t been announced yet, according to the festival’s Instagram, it is slated to return this year. Dusk tends to focus on dance music. Previous headliners include Steve Aoki and Kaskade.
Goldrush Music Festival
Typically held in October, the Goldrush Music Festival tends to feature DJs and EDM artists over two days. This past year, Alesso and The Chainsmokers will headline.
