Watching a movie outside is a quintessential summer experience—and there are many places in Dallas-Fort Worth where you can do so for free! And even though Texas summers can get toasty, many of these events take place at sunset, letting families enjoy the fresh air while watching a beloved kid-friendly movie.

In addition to the select free movie nights, many other locations are offering affordable movies that children of all ages will enjoy. Some include actual movie theaters (with deals on their buttery popcorn!) and others you can watch while cooling off inside a pool. How cool is that (literally!)?

The summer is long, and kids’ attention spans are short, so take advantage of these free and affordable summer movie nights while you can. It’s bound to become your new favorite summer tradition.
