1. Space Center Houston 

Houston, we don’t have a problem. At least not at The Johnson Space Center, home to Space Center Houston, a must-see when in the city that is well-known for space travel. Seniors pay between $27.95 and $37.95, depending on whether you choose general admission or elect to add on the don’t miss Apollo Mission Control Tram tour.   

2. Bayou Bend Collections & Garden (MFAH) 

The home and garden tour known as Bayou Bend Collections & Garden (MFAH) blossoms in the summer but can be enjoyed year-round. While you’re visiting the Houston Museum of Natural Science, pay just $12 more to step into the Cockrell Butterfly Center. You’ll walk through a jungle where butterflies flit among palm fronds, flutter across a 50-foot waterfall, and soar up to the three-story glass dome. You can purchase this ticket at the main admissions desk in the museum.

8. Houston Metro 

Seniors can visit all the major sights in the city by hopping on the Houston Metro. If you are 65-69 years old, you’ll receive a 50% discount on your METRO Q Fare Card, and if you’re over 70, you’ll ride for free, as much as you like, on your METRO Q Fare Card 70+ pass. 9. Perry’s Steakhouse 

Everything’s big in Texas, including the meals at the popular Perry’s Steakhouse, and you can enjoy some sweet deals if you’re a senior.
