Discover the eight spots in Lansing serving spirit-free sips that are as fun and festive as their boozy counterparts.
Lansing offers something for everyone looking to enjoy a night out on the town—from craft breweries to live music venues to cocktail bars. But Michigan’s capital city is also home to plenty of places that cater to non-drinkers too.
As more people experiment with a sober or semi-sober lifestyle and mocktails become increasingly popular, bars and restaurants throughout Lansing are adding non-alcoholic drinks to their menus. But these spots aren’t simply serving traditional cocktails sans booze—they’re crafting creative drinks with fresh, housemade ingredients that feel as special as the signature cocktails.
Keep reading to learn more about the eight places in Lansing that offer must-try mocktails.

1. American Fifth Spirits
The main attraction at American Fifth Spirits—Lansing’s first distillery—is the award-winning, small-batch spirits and cocktails made with locally sourced ingredients. But non-drinkers have plenty of beverage options too.
American Fifth’s mocktail offering goes way beyond basic alcohol-free versions of classic cocktails. The mocktail menu is thoughtfully crafted, focusing on fresh ingredients, housemade syrups, and fruit juices. There are eight mocktails on the summer menu, all priced at $7. A few highlights include:
- Spiced Pear: pear puree, pear juice, rosemary-thyme-cardamom syrup, lemon juice, and sparkling water
- Evergreen Ruby: pomegranate juice, rosemary syrup, lemon juice, edible glitter, sparkling water, and a rosemary sprig
- Purple Reign: lavender syrup, fresh lemon juice, blueberries, and sparkling water
- Trouble in Paradise: pineapple juice, lime juice, vanilla syrup, and ginger ale

2. Cooper’s Hawk
Cooper’s Hawk may be a winery with an on-site tasting room, but you don’t have to be a drinker to enjoy yourself here.
Cooper’s Hawk has its own line of non-alcoholic bubbly, Vivanté!, which is available in three varieties: Bubbly Blanc, Peach, and Strawberry Elderflower. It also offers several spirit-free mocktails.
If you visit for brunch, you can choose between the No-Mosa, which is made with Vivanté! Bubbly Blanc and fresh orange juice, or the Night Lite, which features a non-alcoholic spirit, cold brew, black sugar syrup, vanilla, and half-and-half.
The dinner menu includes two additional mocktails—Passion & Spice and The Spa—plus some non-alcoholic beers.

5. People’s Kitchen
People’s Kitchen is known for its craveable comfort food and craft cocktails. Diners enjoy dishes like braised pork belly and steak burgers alongside signature sips like The Trophy Wife or A Bitter Pill.
But People’s Kitchen puts as much thought into its mocktail offering as it does its food and cocktail program.
“We decided to invest in our zero-proof program because we believe everyone deserves a thoughtfully crafted, delicious beverage, regardless of whether they are drinking alcohol. It’s about inclusivity and elevating the entire guest experience,” a representative for the restaurant told us.
All mocktails are made with the restaurant’s housemade syrups, shrubs, and fresh ingredients—just like the cocktails. Here is a look at the mocktails available at People’s Kitchen:
- Espresso Martini: Lyres Coffee Originale, Lyres White Cane, cold brew, and vietnamese coffee
- Margarita: zero-proof tequila, Lyres Orange Sec, lime, simple syrup, and orange juice
- Strawberry Fields): non-alcoholic white cane, strawberry basil syrup, lemon, and soda
- Tropic Like It’s Hot: lemon green tea, blood orange juice, tropical fruit syrup, lemongrass, lime, and ginger beer
- Cilantro Ginger: cilantro lemongrass syrup, lime, and ginger beer
Alongside its handcrafted, zero-proof cocktails, People’s Kitchen also offers a curated selection of non-alcoholic beers and spirits, plus dealcoholized wines.

6. PetalPop Cafe
PetalPop Cafe, which opened in March 2026, is a recent addition to Lansing’s mocktail scene—and one you’ll definitely want to check out. This family owned brunch spot is housed in a former flower shop, and many of its mocktails—there’s almost 20 to choose from—are floral-inspired. (Lavender Lemon Fizz, Orange Blossom Breeze, and Galaxy Bloom are a few examples.)
PetalPop also serves a selection of craft sodas, with fun flavors like rhubarb lavender, pomegranate lemonade, and black cherry cream soda. The light and refreshing mocktails and sodas perfectly complement heartier, homestyle comfort dishes like biscuits and gravy, burgers, and chicken and waffles.
The interior is bright and cozy and maintains the floral theme with a colorful mural of flowers on one wall.
Address: 519 W. Ionia St., Lansing
7. Rooted Socialite
Rooted Socialite is a tea shop with a big focus on kava, an earthy beverage known for its anti-anxiety and muscle-relaxing effects. The drink selection changes based on availability and is carefully curated by the store’s owner. In addition to kava, customers can enjoy craft tea and canned beverages like non-alcoholic beer, better-for-you soda, and CBD-infused drinks.
The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the space features a large bar to sit at as well as built-in banquette seating and modular seating.

8. Zoobie’s Old Town Tavern & Bar

Here, you can order a Trust Us mocktail, where the bartender mixes up a surprise drink with housemade syrups, fresh juices, and non-alcoholic flavored bitters from Fee Brothers. (The bartender will inquire about any allergies before crafting your custom drink.)
At the time of writing, Zoobie’s is also offering a lavender French 75 spritz mocktail made with lavender syrup, fresh lemon, club soda, and dealcoholized sparkling wine. The bar also carries a non-alcoholic negroni and a selection of non-alcoholic beer and wine.
