8 of the best happy hour deals in Reno

Finding the best happy hour in Reno isn’t difficult because we’ve done the work for you. Check out these eight great deals, from bars to fine dining.

You don’t have to look that far for good foods or drinks in our beautiful state. It might be a hidden gem to some, but locals know that our food scene is unmatched in many regards, from unparalleled Mexican fare to new-American cuisine that rivals anything you’d find in San Francisco or New York. Nevada even has some of the best gluten-free restaurants, not to mention the many great rooftop bars and restaurants that line Las Vegas’ streets.

While all of this is true, finding the most affordable food and drinks can be a little trickier. That’s why we’ve scoured Google, Reddit, and more to find which establishments in Reno have the best happy hours. In making this list, we’ve considered how many days a week the happy hour is offered, how many hours it lasts, and how good the deals are. We’ve also looked at the restaurants’ overall ratings because a frequent happy hour means nothing if the quality and/or service is lacking. With that said, let’s break down eight places you should visit for a rewarding happy hour in Reno.

1. Old Southwest Social House

Address: 17 S Virginia St, Reno, NV 89501

Hours: Monday-Thursday: 11 a.m.-9 p.m.; Friday-Saturday: 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m.; Sunday: 11 a.m.-9 p.m.

As if an all-you-can-pasta special weren’t enough—our stomachs are now growling, too—Reno’s Old Southwest Social House has a fantastic happy hour every weekday. That’s right: Monday through Friday, you can get a lovely 20% off your food and drinks, helping you not break the bank while sipping and dining on spectacular fare. Just note that this 20% off won’t stack with any other specials or deals. Still, you can indulge in decadent burgers, sumptuous pastas, “legendary” wings, and more for nearly a quarter less than usual. We’ll take it!

2. Tacos Tijuana Cantina

Address: 7499 Longley Ln, Reno, NV 89511

Hours: Monday-Sunday: 8 a.m.-9 p.m.

A happy hour in Reno really has to be worth it in order to get our attention, and Tacos Tijuana Cantina hands down has one of the best budget-friendly deals. There, the happy hour runs seven days a week from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and nearly everything is a whopping 40% off. According to a July 2025 Instagram post, a few exceptions include parrilladas, molcajete, and al pastor. Otherwise, you can go hog wild and enjoy asada fries, sopes, and more.

3. Legends Grill Sports & Spirits

Address: 6015 S Virginia St J, Reno, NV 89502

Hours: Monday-Sunday: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.

Legends Grill Sports & Spirits is another happy hour in Reno that locals and tourists alike can hit up daily. You’ll just want to pay attention to the restaurant’s website, noting the hours and deals of the day. Some days are all-day happy hours, while other days only have happy hours from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. It’s worth seeking the hours out, though, as visitors tend to love their food. “Good food and best wings in town if you ask me,” one Redditor wrote in a discussion about Reno’s best happy hours. They added that they love the $5 to $7 food specials, as well as the $2 off draft beer and house wine.

4. Belleville Wine Bar

Belleville Wine Bar has a happy hour every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, serving glasses of wine at lower prices from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., but the fun doesn’t end there. All of the establishment’s Sunday hours are a special seafood happy hour. During this time, you can get great deals like six oysters on the half shell for $15 or two devil crab eggs for $9, per a March 2025 Facebook post

5. Land Ocean Restaurant

Address: 13967 S Virginia St #914, Reno, NV 89511

Hours: Monday-Thursday: 11 a.m.-9 p.m.; Friday: 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; Saturday: 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sunday: 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
