You don’t even need a rudimentary understanding of math to appreciate March 14 (or 3/14, in honor of 3.14, the first three digits of Pi). Detroit native Jennifer Lyle started Lush Yummies with inspiration from her grandfather, who taught her to make Lemon “Butta” pies when Jennifer was young. Today, she operates her very own bakery out of a production facility in Eastern Market and a storefront in Ferndale. Culinary Combo, tucked away in Southfield, is something of a hidden gem that’s so worth visiting during your Pi Day celebrations.
