Wondering where to find the best Las Vegas senior discounts of 2024? Check out these deals on senior days, hotel stays, things to do, and more.
If you’re a senior, you know there are advantages to getting older—like wisdom, grandchildren, and retirement. However, one of the bonus perks is the well-deserved senior discount, a special rate dedicated to those who have lived long enough to earn it.
In Las Vegas, seniors receive discounts on dining, hotel stays, movies, attractions, and more. You can even ride a Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) bus for a reduced fare (60+).
From a day dedicated to seniors to a bucket list trip to the Hoover Dam, here’s a look at some of the best senior discounts in Las Vegas (not including national chains).
Senior days
Most of us don’t get a day in our honor except our birthday. As a senior in Las Vegas, you get a special day every week at some of the casino resorts around town. Typically, all you have to do (besides live to be at least 50 years old), is join the property’s players club (for free).
Start the week off right at the South Point Hotel and Casino with specials for seniors on Mondays. As a senior, you can watch movies at Cinemark Century South Point all day for only $4 each. You also receive half-off dining and half-off Bingo if you have enough points on your player’s club card.
On Mondays at Silverton Casino & Lodge, seniors get a free swipe for a chance to win up to $100 free slot play, and Gold members get 50% off an entree at Mi Casa Grill Cantina, Su Casa Sushi Bar, Sundance Grill, or WuHu Noodle.

Tuesday is the day at M Resort when seniors (50+) receive a $10 discount on food at any hotel restaurant and an exclusive chance to win $4,000 in slot play. You also receive 25% off spa services at Spa Mio on Mondays through Thursdays.
Boyd Gaming (Aliante, The Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast, Sam’s Town, Cannery, California, Fremont, Main Street) honors seniors on Tuesdays as well with an unlimited 10X points multiplier on slots and a free Bingo blue pack.
Seniors at Stations Casinos (Red Rock, Green Valley Ranch, Durango, Palace Station, Sunset, Boulder, and Santa Fe) are kind of a big deal. You get two days, Wednesdays and Thursdays, for special promotions. Wednesdays bring half-price dining (with points on your card) at most restaurants and $5 movie matinees. On Thursdays, you get 10X points on slots and video poker.
On Wednesdays at El Cortez Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas, seniors receive 50% off a special menu at Siegel’s 1941. Named for former mobster Bugsy Siegel, this old-school eatery serves up steak, prime rib, and all your favorite comfort foods.
Hotel stays
Whether you’re a local booking a staycation or visiting Sin City from out of town, seniors can score a deal on room rates at many Las Vegas hotels. At Plaza Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas, for instance, seniors get 15% off the room rate on weekends and 20% off on weekdays.

Here are some of the best discounts for seniors on room rates in Las Vegas:
- Caesars Entertainment (Caesars Palace, Flamingo, Harrah’s, Horseshoe, NOBU Hotel, Paris Las Vegas, Planet Hollywood, The Cromwell, The LINQ Hotel): 30% off
- MGM Resorts (Aria, Bellagio, Delano, Excalibur, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, New York-New York, The Cosmopolitan, Park MGM, The Signature, Vdara): 5% off
- The Strat Hotel, Casino & Tower: 10% off

- Boyd Gaming: 10% off
Senior discounts on room rates are typically applied when you book directly through the hotel. If you have any questions, contact the hotel directly.
Even if your hotel of choice isn’t on this list, don’t be afraid to ask about discounts. You never know!
