Lake Havasu State Park will host a free public celebration on February 23, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring live music, guided hikes, and park tours. The event marks 60 years since the park’s establishment in 1965, which came shortly after Lake Havasu City’s founding.

The park’s transformation over six decades reflects strategic development and careful conservation efforts. A defining moment came in 1971 with the installation of the famous London Bridge, which dramatically increased the park’s international appeal.
