Dallas launches Fair Housing Roadshow to reach residents

The Office of Equity and Inclusion’s Fair Housing Division is bringing vital housing resources directly to Dallas neighborhoods through weekly “Fair Housing Roadshow” events. These informational sessions will rotate through different districts, making it convenient for residents across the city to participate and get their questions answered.

Key city leaders including Mayor Pro Tem Tennell Atkins and Councilmembers Jamie Resendez and Jesse Moreno will be present at these workshops to engage with community members and address housing-related concerns. Fair Housing staff will be available on-site to provide information and accept qualifying fair housing complaints from residents who may have experienced discrimination.

Event locations and schedule

The Fair Housing Roadshow will make stops at the following locations, with all events running from 6:00-7:00 p.m.:

  • April 10: District 8 Resource Center / Highland Hills WIC Office (District 8)
  • April 17: Pleasant Grove Branch Library (District 5)
  • April 24: J. Erik Jonsson Central Library (District 2)
  • April 28: Vickery Meadow Youth Development Foundation Center (District 13)
