Fort Worth Stockyards: 16 events to look forward to in the rest of 2025

Celebrate the end of 2025 in style with 16 exciting events happening at the Fort Worth Stockyards. From country music to ghost tours, there is something for everyone. 

The Fort Worth Stockyards are full of fun, with Western-style shopping, authentic country dancing, and live music going on nearly every day. Watch real-life cattle drives, enjoy savory Texas BBQ, go bull-riding, and watch a world-class rodeo. It’s everything that makes Texas Texas—and you’ll love it as much as we do!

From musicians to ghost tours, dance lessons to award shows, there are many events happening at the Fort Worth Stockyards through the end of 2025. Check out some of the most notable events below and be sure to buy your tickets before they sell out!

1. Fort Worth Herd Cattle Drive

When: Every day at 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. (except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day)

Price: Free

The Fort Worth Stockyards preserve the history of the city with a twice-daily Fort Worth Herd Cattle Drive. A parade of Texas Longhorns goes down the street as a living tribute to the cowboy history of Fort Worth. Watch the drovers display their horsemanship skills as they herd cattle along the street at East Exchange Avenue, take pictures of the cattle, and collect unique steer trading cards before each drive.

2. Josh Meloy

When: October 24

Price: $40 pit; $20 general admission

With his unpolished, gritty, red-dirt country music style, Josh Meloy has a sound you can’t stop listening to. The “Met the Devil in Oklahoma” singer comes to Billy Bob’s on October 24, taking the stage at 10 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

3. Gary Allan

When: October 25

Price: $65-$85 reserved seating; $25 general admission

Gary Allan has been releasing music for nearly 30 years, rising to fame with other ‘90s country music artists. “Right Where I Need to Be,” “Best I Ever Had,” “Watching Airplanes,” and “Man to Man” are just some of his hits—no matter what he plays, we know it’ll be entertaining! Doors open at 6 p.m. and Gary Allan comes on at 10 p.m.

4. Blanco Brown

When: October 31

Price: $28-$35 reserved seating; $20 general admission

This Halloween will be all treats and no tricks when you spend it with Blanco Brown. The country rapper and singer’s hits like “The Git Up,” “Bad Man,” and “High Horse” have millions of streams on Spotify, proving that he’s a force to be reckoned with. Doors open at 6 p.m., with Blanco taking the stage at 10 p.m.

5. Easton Corbin

When: November 8

Price: $35-$40 reserved seating; $20 general admission

Easton Corbin has a traditional country sound with music that gets stuck in your head. From “A Little More Country Than That” to “Baby Be My Love Song,” Easton Corbin has a collection of hits that’ll keep you entertained all night long.

6. Second Rodeo Brewing & Stockyards Foodie Tour

When: November 8, 14-16, 21

Price: From $130

Get to know the Fort Worth Stockyards up close and personal by signing up for a Second Rodeo Brewing & Stockyards Foodie Tour on various dates in November. Walk the old Western brick streets, sample award-winning craft brews, and hear tales of the historic cattle drives, cowboys, and outlaws that once made this area their home.

During the tour, you’ll get to stop at four local favorites to enjoy authentic Texas BBQ, Southern comfort food, sweet dessert, and craft beer from Second Rodeo Brewing. Tours take place at noon and/or 4:30 p.m.

7. Texas Country Music Awards

When: November 9

Price: $65-$125 reserved seating; $30 general admission

What an honor to have the Texas Country Music Awards taking place right here in our backyard! This event will feature performances by Kevin Fowler, Robert Earl Kee, Billie Jo Jones, Pug Johnson, Brandon Rhyder, five emerging artist finalists, and more. The awards start at 6 p.m., with doors open at 2 p.m.

8. Kaitlin Butts

When: November 14

Price: $28-$35 reserved seating; $20 general admission

If you’re looking for an upbeat, country music with a side of showgirl, funny and heartfelt show, then you have to see Kaitlin Butts. The “You Ain’t Gotta Die (to Be Dead to Me)” singer puts on a fantastic show that you won’t want to miss. The show starts at 10 p.m., with doors open at 6 p.m.

9. Wade Bowen

When: November 22

Price: $35-$40 reserved seating; $20 general admission

With ten studio albums under his belt and five awards at the 2025 Texas Regional Radio Music (T3R) awards, Wade Bowen is a force to be reckoned with. You don’t need a “Mood Ring” to know you’ll be happy to see him perform! Wade Bowen performs at 10 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m.

10. Randy Rogers Band

When: December 6

Price: $60-$75 reserved seating; $30 general admission

Twenty-five years ago, the Randy Rogers Band was born, and they are still going strong today. Songs in the Texas-based country musicians’ roster include “In My Arms Instead,” “Kiss Me in the Dark,” “One More Goodbye,” and “Buy Myself a Chance.” Doors open at 6 p.m.; Randy Rogers Band takes the stage at 10 p.m.

11. Dustin Lynch

When: December 13

Price: $65 pit; $25 general admission

Known for his 10 number one hit songs, Dustin Lynch will have you twirling your girl and stomping your feet all night long. The “Thinking ‘Bout You” singer takes the stage at 10 p.m.

12. Sunday Couples Dance Classes

When: Various Sundays through Dec. 14

Price: $10/couple/class

Bring your gal or guy and head to Billy Bob’s to learn how to dance! Various Sundays through Dec. 14, you can learn the Waltz, 3 Step, 2 Step, Cha, East or West Coast Swing, Night Club 2 Step, and Fort Worth Shuffle by award-winning dance instructors Bill and Bonnie. Bring your cowboy boots and a partner and get ready for the time of your life!

13. Midland

When: December 19-20

Price: $80 pit; $40 general admission

Midland is so popular, they are performing back-to-back nights at Billy Bob’s this December! The double Grammy-nominees take the stage at 10 p.m. to play a medley of hits, such as “Drinkin’ Problem,” “Cheatin’ Songs,” “Mr. Lonely,” and “I Wish You Would.”

14. Fort Worth Stockyards Ghost Tour

When: Various dates through December 27

Price: $25

Discover the eerie legends and paranormal stories at the Fort Worth Stockyards Ghost Tour. This walking tour through the Stockyards will take you to historically haunted places, like saloons, hotels, abandoned cattle pens, and other spine-tingling areas with a ghostly history. You’ll get to drink, learn about unique history, and maybe even see a spirit or two!

15. Eli Young Band

When: December 27

Price: $50-$65 reserved seating; $20 general admission

Seeing the Eli Young Band perform live is always a treat, with hits like “Crazy Girl,” “Love Ain’t,” and “Drunk Last Night” that get everyone on their feet and singing along. The Denton-based band will take the stage at 10 p.m., although doors open at 6 p.m., so you can grab a bite to eat or a drink before the show.  

16. New Year’s Eve Party Featuring Dylan Gossett

When: December 31

Price: $50-$75 reserved seating; $25 general admission

Ring in the New Year Texas style, with four balloon drops, a midnight champagne toast, and live music by Dylan Gosset. The “Coal” singer first got famous on TikTok and gained even more fans after opening for Morgan Wallen. Bring your boots and ring in 2026 on the dance floor. Doors open at 6 p.m.
