What to expect this year

The 2025 festival offers an impressive lineup of activities that appeal to visitors of all ages:

The grand parade: Kicking off Saturday at 10 a.m., the beloved Daffodil Festival Parade travels down Main Street. Road closures begin at 9:45 a.m. and remain in effect until the parade concludes. Following the parade, the official opening ceremonies and crowning of this year’s Daffodil Queen take place at 11:30 a.m. at the Gloucester Toyota Main Stage.

The museum will be set up behind the Gloucester Museum of History from April 2-6. The 7th Virginia Regiment interpreters will conduct cannon firing demonstrations at the top of every hour from 12-5 p.m. on the lawn behind the Gloucester Museum of History.

Family activities: The festival includes a dedicated Kids Area featuring face painting with Giggles The Clown and silhouettes by John from 12-4 p.m. Children’s rides will operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. adjacent to the Food Court area. The Gloucester County Public Library will also have an outreach booth from 12-4 p.m.
