Carson City

Aunt Bee’s Vintage

With two locations on Curry Street—one in a blue Victorian cottage and the other in a 19th-century building—Aunt B’s Vintage has a strong character and an ever-changing inventory of antique and handmade treasures.

Customers write on Yelp that prices vary from cheap to expensive, but are typically reasonable. They also enjoy speaking with the store owner who went “above and beyond,” according to Tal P. Antique camera collector Crystal B. was able to add to her photography collection. She enjoyed checking out the vintage toys, salt and pepper shaker sets, and paintings. “Oh my goodness the vintage delights you will find,” adds Christine M. “Their collection is nicely curated so you can truly find what you are looking for plus so much more you didn’t even know you needed in your life.”

Mound House

The Antique Mall in Mound House

Antique Mall in Mound House, off I-50 between Carson City and Dayton, carries mid-century to modern antiques ranging from glassware and train sets to furniture and mechanical equipment. Customers like the selection, prices, and helpful staff. A recent phone call to the store confirms the staff/owner is also friendly.

This longtime mall has an outdoor yard with mining and farming equipment, which was the draw for John N., who writes on Yelp that he “found a great little plow.” Heather J. described her finds as “Nevada ephemera.” Ann O. enjoyed a drive filled with snow-covered mountains on the way to Mound House.

Reno

Somewhere in Time Antique Mall

You may not be able to travel back in time, but you’ll feel like you have at Midtown Reno’s Somewhere In Time. The hospitable antique mall has 17 vendors with a whole range of items—vintage, contemporary, offbeat, and eclectic. Rotary phones and old Apple computers are a blast from the past, while you’ll also get lost in much older items, like Mid-Century Hollywood Regency perfume bottles or a vintage milk crate.

“Amazing,” is what Maris M writes on Yelp about the prices, variety, atmosphere, and service. Irah L. repeats those sentiments, noting “The folks there are so friendly and helpful.” Linda H. found it “easy to maneuver around” and “a great way to spend some time” and money. Jonathan Kreidler writes on Google that he feels like he’s “digging for treasure in the shelves and displays” and “Literally cannot ever walk out of here without something cool to put on my shelf at home.”

Midtown Antiques

Housed in a building with a storied past dating back to 1938, Midtown Antiques appeals to antique enthusiasts and history lovers. Its three floors carry thousands of distinctive finds. The store’s vendors search far and wide for antiques, collectibles, decor, and more to curate their booths.

This store is recommended by experienced antiquers like Langdon Morgan, who writes on Google: “Casual collectors may not notice the difference between one antique mall/store and the next, but if you’re experienced and know what you’re looking at, go out of your way to visit.” He also compliments the management, collections, and prices. Olga K. writes on Yelp that the store’s 25-plus booths are organized and easy to navigate with thrift-friendly prices and attentive service. “Just when you think you’ve seen all the store, a new corner will expand into a whole new section,” writes Katie M. Christy Dean writes on Google that visiting Midtown Antiques fills her with nostalgia: “Always fun seeing items we used to have when I was a kid.”

Lynn D. writes on Yelp that the store transported her to the 1960s and 70s “the moment I walked through the door.” The place is “drenched in culture,” writes Ms Ayden B. Yelp reviewer Katie M was impressed with the clothing selection, particularly the vintage wedding dresses.

Sparks

Antiques and Treasures Rock

Relocating from Reno to Sparks, Antiques And Treasures ROCK has been open in Washoe County since 2005. Customers often spend hours in this time machine of 20 vendors, shopping and talking to the owner.

“Honestly could have spent all day listening to him,” writes Amy O. on Yelp, noting that she purchased a dog magnet and a recipe index holder made from a bike chain. Alex N. writes that there’s something for everyone in every price range. He spent two hours “shopping and visiting with the owners and their staff. They helped with anything we needed … and had tons of fun Nevada history.”

Lovelock

Nanny Joe’s Antiques, Retro, Vintage

In the small town of Lovelock, Nanny Joe’s Antiques, Retro, Vintage draws locals and tourists searching for cool antiques. Housed in a historic building, the store offers one-of-a-kind kitchen items, clothing, cowboy boots, books, sewing items, home furnishings, and jewelry.

Yelp reviewer and vintage postcard fan Lily C. writes it’s “just about the cutest antique store you can find in Nevada” with the “sweetest owner.” Michael B. and his fiancée spent about two hours visiting with the owner and shopping. They took home a red polka dot skirt, an orange sundae cup, and a few yarn balls for their cats. “We really had a wonderful time … and can’t wait to be back,” he wrote. Customer Amanda Schweitzer writes on Google that she likes to pop in regularly to “check out all the new stuff that’s always coming in.”

Las Vegas

Antique Mall of America

You will recognize the enormous Antique Mall of America by the colorful mural on the side of the building facing Las Vegas Boulevard. Located one mile south of the South Point Casino & Hotel in the sleepy Vegas Point Plaza strip mall, the mall recently celebrated its 20th anniversary with a huge sale featuring more than 80 vendors spread across the enormous parking lot. On a normal day, the 43,000-square-foot indoor mall has 140 vendors carrying antiques, collectibles, art, jewelry, and rare items.

Yelp reviewer Michael C. calls the Antique Mall of America the “mother of all antique and collectible shops in Vegas” and a place to discover items you “probably owned at one time, no longer need, and will wind up buying anyway.” In 2023, a Reddit user reported spotting Clark County Museum Administrator Mark Hall-Patton, a regular on the History channel’s “Pawn Stars,” browsing various booths. “Coolest place to get lost for a few hours,” writes Tamara Morgando on Google reviews.”So many treasures hidden behind every turn. It was awesome.”

Charleston Antique Mall

560 S. Decatur Blvd.

With a colorful history in Las Vegas dating back to 1987, the Charleston Antique Mall moved to its current location, adjacent to Arizona Charlie’s Decatur, in 2012. More than 75 dealers sell merchandise from locations far and wide. Shoppers find more than 18,000 square feet of antiques and collectibles, including a working film photo booth in the back of the store.

“This is a true antique store,” writes Hannah G. on Yelp, noting she even left with an item she had been looking for. Yelp reviewer Willow A. calls it a “secret treasure of a mall” with variety and good deals. Antique enthusiast and Yelp reviewer Michael H. takes it a few steps further, comparing the shopping experience to Forum Shops at Caesars on the Las Vegas Strip due to the “absolute impeccable customer service and comfort.” 

Antique Alley

1126 S. Main St.

Surrounded by many fabulous antique shops in the downtown Las Vegas Arts District, Antique Alley Mall looks charming on the outside. Inside, it’s 12,000 square feet of nonstop shopping, with 65 vendors selling something for everyone and everything. The store’s vendors represent multiple eras and design styles, including Victorian, Industrial, 18th-century, Hollywood Regency, and Mid-Century. You’ll find memorabilia related to rock n roll, Las Vegas, Disney, and sports; vintage clothing, furniture, vinyl records, toys, video games, jewelry, art, and a lot of other things you forgot existed.

The Antique Alley Mall is one of Yelp reviewer Steven M.’s favorite places to shop in Las Vegas “for odds and ends.” Jason C. writes on Yelp that the store is “pure heaven for my collector’s heart and taste,” noting that “my vintage lamp heart skipped a beat when I saw the fresh vintage lamp stock.” Raggedy Ann and Andy rag dolls? Check. Dog butler? Sure. Zoltar Machine? Of course! You have to see it to believe it.

Boulder City 

Bella Marketplace

With antiques, vintage items, new gifts, artisan-made crafts and jewelry, up-cycled furniture, craft and paint products, and home decor, Bella Marketplace has a little bit of everything, especially if you’re looking for a DIY project. In business since 2006, the 9,000-square-foot “gem of Boulder City” opened at its current location in 2015.

Yelp reviewer Julie S. writes that you should plan to spend a couple of hours for “an amazing, unique shopping experience.” Yelp reviewer Rudy K. has found items “I have never, repeat never, seen elsewhere” from hand-held, laser-cut music boxes to a huge selection of opal jewelry.” 

Pahrump 

Lost in Time Too

A small town shop with a big variety, Lost in Time Too sells antiques, collectibles, toys, clothes, furniture, crystals, jewelry, and handmade items. The staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the inventory often changes.

Customer Darci L. wrote on Yelp that she checked out “lots of cool vintage/antique items” but ended up settling on soaps and bath bombs. Rebecca A. loves the store layout: “Each little section is set up and a bit different,” she writes. Jenni M. got lucky and visited when everything was 50 percent off, writing, “They mentioned that they have this sale often throughout the year.”
