A Harry Styles pop-up will take place in Houston this weekend. Here are all the details.
It has been four years since Harry Styles graced us with a new album, but all of that is set to change on March 6 with the release of his forthcoming record, “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.” To celebrate the momentous occasion (yes, I’m saying it’s momentous because I’ve been a fan of his since One Direction was booted off X-Factor in 2010), pop-up shops will, well, pop up in a few cities across the globe. Houston just happens to be one of those lucky few, and we’ve got all the details for you below.
While these types of speciality artist events typically focus on bringing fans together to buy exclusive merch, there’s some online speculation that album listening parties will also be held during the pop-ups. What better way to hear KATTDO than with people in your community who love Styles as much as you do? He recently held listening parties in February at 40 different cities—including Austin!—so it isn’t a stretch to assume they’ll likely be playing the new album at the Houston pop-up. And if you’ve been lamenting the fact that he won’t be playing any Texas shows on his upcoming “Together, Together” tour, don’t worry, you’ll be able to enjoy the experience from the comfort of your own home.
On March 8, Netflix will release a new concert film, “Harry Styles. One Night in Manchester.,” which is set to be recorded on Friday. Styles hasn’t performed in concert in about three years, but I have the utmost faith in his ability to put on a great show, so I’ll definitely be tuning in. Dates, times, and details
The Harry Styles Houston pop-up shop will be located at 2415 Taft Street and will be open March 6-8. On Friday, March 6, it will be open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8, it will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Secret Houston notes that exclusive merchandise will include t-shirts, crewnecks, hoodies, totes, clocks, mugs, towels, slipmats, and limited batch media. It’s safe to assume other items, like vinyl and CDs, will also be sold given that the event is being held to celebrate the release of the new album.
