The 10 best farm-to-table restaurants in Nevada, according to Yelp

0 268

Nevada’s farm-to-table restaurants serve fresh and high-quality fried chicken, pizza, salad, and more. Here are 10 Yelp-approved joints to try in 2025.

Farm-to-table restaurants bridge the gap between food producer and consumer, meaning that restaurants work directly with local farms and other producers to use the freshest possible ingredients in their dishes rather than exclusively purchasing ingredients through restaurant-wholesale middlemen. This not only boosts the local economy by putting money directly in farmers’ hands but also grants restaurantgoers food with better, richer flavors and even more nutrients (via UAB Medical West). Yes, even in Nevada’s harsh climate, food producers are making strides in forging communities and working directly with restaurants. For instance, over 20 dairy farms operate in the state, per Nevada Dairy Farmers, with many collaborating with local restaurants and organizations.

If better nutritional content, fuller flavors, a sharper economy, and healthy communities sound delectable to you, check out these 10 farm-to-table restaurants in Nevada. You might even find a Nevada restaurant with insane views, which is sometimes equally as important as the service.

1. Salt & Spoon

Yelp Rating: 4.7

Address: 7625 South Rainbow Boulevard #102, Las Vegas, NV 89139

Price: $$

Hours: Monday-Friday: 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. & Saturday-Sunday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

It should come as no surprise that Sin City is starting this farm-to-table restaurant list off, seeing as Las Vegas is one of the biggest food hubs in Nevada. While the city is surrounded by desert, the California state border is only about an hour away, and local California produce—the state grows more produce than any other in the nation, according to FarmTogether—is exactly what you’ll find at Vegas’ Salt & Spoon.

A 4.7-star rating is hard to come by, but folks at Salt & Spoon have earned it one meal at a time since the Southwest restaurant opened in 2021. Here, you’ll find fresh ingredients singing together to create a full opera in your mouth. Because it’s a farm-to-table restaurant, you can expect to see a rotating menu of seasonal dishes. At the time of writing, this includes Mushroom Risotto composed of a few different varieties of ‘shroom, Roasted Brussel Sprouts dressed in a simultaneously sweet and tangy balsamic glaze, and Tuna Melts that feature unctuous heirloom tomatoes. Fresh berries even make it onto the menu as a topping for this joint’s house-made Creme Brulee.

But what do people say about Salt & Spoon? Well, they tend to love the food, though some folks have commented that they wish the service was smoother. “Everything was prepared well with very good quality ingredients and freshness,” one reviewer wrote on Yelp. “I went with the Salt & [Spoon] burger. [It] was a nice thick patty cooked exactly to how I ordered it.” Overall, the food seems to speak for itself, and if you don’t mind a busy, often-packed restaurant, this might be for you.

2. Flower Child

Yelp Rating: 4.4

Address: 1007 S Rampart Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89145 & 2215 Village View Dr. Henderson, NV 89052

Price: $$

Hours: Monday-Sunday: 11 a.m.-9 p.m. for both Nevada locations

In Flower Child’s own words, its goal is “to serve positively delicious vibes to the Las Vegas community,” and it does so with the freshest farm-to-table ingredients in the area. More specifically, Flower Child emphasizes healthy dishes composed of lean proteins, vivacious vegetables, supple fruits, and whole grains, and customers are able to fit any lifestyle or dietary restrictions they have through the restaurant’s customizable menu, which features salads, wraps, bowls, and more. Meanwhile, more intricate entreés include Kung Pow Cauliflower, Red Chili Glazed Sweet Potato, and Gluten-Free Mac & Cheese.

Now, Flower Child is a national restaurant chain with stores in 13 states, not a standalone business native to Nevada, but it’s worth mentioning for those who desire healthy meals they can grab on the go and know that their specific diet is being respected. Nevadans seem to be excited to have Flower Child in the state, too. “Flower Child is a breath of fresh air! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere and a menu that screams healthy, vibrant, and delicious,” one Yelp reviewer wrote about the Las Vegas location. “I had ordered the new pot roast dish, which comes with a side of mashed potatoes and some veggies and the sauce which was sprinkled all over was very savory. I was satisfied with my dish …” another wrote. A leaner take on pot roast? Sign us up!

3. Fine Company

Yelp Rating: 4.4

Address: 10970 Rosemary Park Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89135

Price: $$

Hours: Monday-Thursday: 11:00 a.m.-6 p.m.; Friday: 11:00 a.m.-8 p.m.; Saturday: 9:30 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sunday: 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Fine Company is a cashless New American joint in Downtown Summerlin. As seen on the restaurant’s website, it uses the freshest ingredients because it firmly believes that “you are what you eat.” Fine Company has a few menus, ranging from lunch and brunch to fine time (think happy hour) and dessert, but if you ask us, the brunch menu is what really steals the show. You can get fresh and healthy Avocado Toast, a mean Green Caesar salad topped with spiced pistachios, a Winter Harvest bowl chock full of nutrients, the extremely enticing Green Eggs, No Ham—an egg-white scramble mixed with lots of green vegetables—and more. Not only is all of this incredibly fresh but there are also interesting flavor twists to elevate the dishes that much more. Case in point, the Sausage & Eggs comes with a soy glaze, and the Steak & Eggs is drizzled with harissa chimichurri.

“Went for lunch and everything was so delicious! … With quite aesthetically pleasing decor and friendly staff, you should definitely check this spot out,” one Yelp reviewer wrote after visiting Fine Company. Worth noting is that some reviewers have taken issue with this restaurant’s food, citing too much dill in their tuna salad sandwich. Still, Fine Company has managed to retain a 4.4-star rating for a reason, and it might just be up to individual taste.

4. Sparrow + Wolf

Yelp Rating: 4.4

Address: 4480 Spring Mountain Road, Suite 100, Las Vegas, NV 89102

Price: $$$

Hours: Sunday-Thursday: 5 p.m.-10 p.m.; Friday-Saturday: 5 p.m.-11 p.m.

Sparrow + Wolf is another farm-to-table restaurant bringing immaculate vibes to everyday eating, albeit with a more upscale twist than other restaurants on this list so far. This restaurant believes in the two big “S”s—sustainability and seasonality—which means that its menu evolves throughout the year to embrace the freshest fruits and vegetables for its patrons. Not only that, but its ingredients are luxurious in addition to fresh. Take one glance at the menu, and you’ll see drool-worthy eye-poppers like Wild Boar Lasagna, Spanish Octopus, and Oxtail Hummus—and that’s before your eyes get to the tasting menu, which contains four courses for $135 per person.

Everything at Sparrow + Wolf comes down to chef Brian Howard’s exquisite taste and experience, and guests seem to love it. “Probably my favorite dining experience I had during my Vegas trip,” one Yelp reviewer wrote after a visit to the restaurant. “Every course [of the tasting menu] was incredible and my favorites were the oxtail hummus, squid ink risotto with octopus, and the lamb.” Others specifically mention that it’s worth it to “venture off the strip” to give Sparrow + Wolf a shot, as visitors who only stay on the main strip are missing out on a one-of-a-kind experience.

5. Esther’s Kitchen

Yelp Rating: 4.5

Address: 1131 S Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89104

Price: $$

Hours: Monday-Friday: 11 a.m.-11 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday: 10 a.m.-11 p.m.

Everyone deserves an Esther in their life, and chef-owner James Trees is helping make that a reality one plate at a time. Esther’s Kitchen is named after Trees’ late great aunt, who inspired him throughout his life and left him enough money after her death to bring his restaurant dreams to life. This chef’s love for food and cooking go way back, and he prides himself on the “craft of cooking,” noting on the restaurant’s website that this craft “has to come before the art [of cooking].”

This is reflected in the Esther’s Kitchen menu. On it, you’ll find Banana Bread French Toast; Meatball Hoagies; Brunch Pizzas topped with bacon, quail eggs, and caramelized onions; Duck + Mushroom Benedict; and more. Esther’s Kitchen takes classic preparations—the skills Trees referred to—and amps them up to 11 with unique flavors and pristine execution.

Esther’s Kitchen is a bit of a positive anomaly, as it’s earned high marks on Yelp for both its food and its customer service (as many places excel at only one or the other). “Not only was all the food and service completely on point but it seems they have expanded into a much larger space! I honestly cannot wait to go back,” one reviewer wrote, adding that one item, in particular, took their breath away: “The sandwich rolls with sesame seeds…best bread I’ve had in Vegas in my 18 years.” Some reviewers have expressed upset about once-complimentary items no longer being complimentary, but otherwise, reviews are consistently positive.

6. Honey Salt

Yelp Rating: 4.1

Address: 1031 S Rampart Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89145

Price: $$

Hours: Monday-Thursday: 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m.; Friday: 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m.; Saturday: 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. & 4 p.m.-10 p.m.; Sunday: 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. & 4 p.m.-9 p.m.

Honey Salt may only have a 4.1-star rating on Yelp—which, while lower than other ratings on this list, isn’t a bad one—but it did earn the 2024 OpenTable Diners Choice Award, making it a farm-to-table destination that folks in the Las Vegas area are more than happy to recommend. Honey Salt’s been spicing up Sin City with its harmonious flavors since 2012, when owners Elizabeth and Kim pulled on their cooking and travel experience to create a communal place where local produce and fish could shine in heartfelt “market-inspired cuisine,” per the restaurant’s website.

Some of the menu items inspired by and filled with fresh ingredients include the Apple Streusel Waffle; the Honey Salt Benedict, which features tomatoes and spinach; and Buttermilk Fried Chicken, which comes with a refreshing slaw. Honey Salt also has a vegan menu that contains many veggie-ful plates, from powerful salads to crunchy potatoes and well-rounded crudité.

The freshness of Honey Salt’s menu shines through not only in its ingredients but also in its preparation. “Honey Salt continues to be one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas.

I like the atmosphere, attitude of the staff, and home cooked meals they provide on their menu,” one Yelp reviewer wrote after a visit to this New Americana hotspot. “The atmosphere is charming, and parking is convenient. The food is delicious and definitely worth checking out,” another wrote. Some reviewers mention that they wished Honey Salt had bigger portions, but overall, the food itself seems to be a hit—so much so that it leaves everyone wanting more.

7. Echo & Rig

Yelp Rating: 4.4

Address: 440 S Rampart Blvd, Suite 120, Las Vegas, NV 89145 & 2270 Village Walk Dr Suite 200, Henderson, NV 89052

Price: $$$

Henderson Hours: Monday-Thursday: 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; Friday: 11 a.m.-11 p.m.; Saturday: 10 a.m.-11 p.m.; Sunday: 10 a.m.-10 p.m.

Las Vegas Hours: Monday-Thursday: 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; Friday: 11 a.m.-11 p.m.; Saturday: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. & 4 p.m.-11 p.m.; Sunday: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. & 4 p.m.-10 p.m.

Echo & Rig is a swanky steakhouse in Las Vegas that also doubles as a butcher shop, which is how you instantly know the food you’re ordering is fresh. Echo & Rig has two Nevada locations, as well as one in Sacramento, California, and all three promise an unforgettable farm-to-table restaurant experience. The Las Vegas restaurant’s website specifically credits chef Sam Marvin for Echo & Rig’s fresh and high-quality ingredients, citing that Marvin has traveled across the globe to find the items that take this joint’s menu to the next level.

On said menu, you’ll find a meat-lover’s dream: Shrimp Cocktail, Grilled Swordfish, Zabuton steaks, Hanger steak marinated in fresh herbs, and more. Of course, there are many side dishes to go with these entreés. Sweet Fire Cauliflower, Potato Gnocchi in Mint Pea Pesto, Brussels Sprout Leaves with Pistachio and Lemon, and Asparagus with Poached Egg and Prosciutto are just a few of the tantalizing dishes awaiting you.

Sometimes, the best items are the simpler ones, and that’s precisely what one Yelp reviewer found: “Man, I was craving a burger and this one did not disappoint. We were suggested goat cheese and the creaminess added a whole different layer.” Another reviewer was seemingly impressed with every facet of their trip, writing, “This place is fantastic, Customer Service is top notch, steaks, sides, cocktails were SUPERB! Pricing is amazing, location is phenomenal. We will definitely return.”

8. Eureka!

Yelp Rating: 4.5

Address: 520 Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101

Price: $$

Hours: Sunday-Thursday: 11 a.m.-12 a.m.; Friday-Saturday: 11 a.m.-1 a.m.

Eureka! You found it: one of Las Vegas’ premier culinary destinations that considers high-quality food and community as two equal pillars of good eating experiences. In addition to fresh produce, Eureka! works with local breweries and vendors to deliver its guests a menu full of locally sourced beers, whiskeys, and cocktails. You can even find these alcohols infused in the food dishes at Eureka! For example, the Ahi Poke Stack includes bourbon barrel-aged soy. Other fun dishes full of fresh ingredients and punchy flavors include the Slow-Roasted Pulled Pork Nachos, the 28-Day Dry-Aged Bone Marrow burger, the Roasted Veggie Tacos, and more. Just don’t leave without ordering dessert because you truly don’t want to miss out on tasting the Bourbon Barrel Cake, which comes with bourbon caramel, candied pecans, and vanilla ice cream.

While everything we’ve already mentioned sounds amazing, some Yelp reviewers gravitate toward something else entirely. “One word: WINGS!” one reviewer wrote, adding, “Good food and good service. The servers are kind and friendly. They really take care of you. The Wings are delicious. Tried the fish tacos. Great portion. Good flavor.” Another reviewer points to the Fresno Fig Burger as “a standout among [Eureka!’s] gourmet burger offerings.” Essentially, it sounds like you’ll be satisfied no matter what you get here.

9. CRAFTkitchen

Yelp Rating: 4.3

Address: 200 Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101

Price: $$

Hours: Monday-Sunday: 7 a.m.-3 p.m.

CRAFTkitchen is quaintly situated inside the Fremont Hotel & Casino, but don’t discount it as so-called “hotel food,” which can get a pretty bad rap. Here, you can indulge in deliciously fresh food just as much as you can $18 bottomless mimosas, which is a big steal in Sin City. Like Eureka! with local alcohols, CRAFTkitchen’s coffees are locally sourced, and the bakery items and coffees rotate, so you can try new things the more you visit.

Don’t stop there, though. This farm-to-table restaurant’s menu is full of gems, like the Chef’s Breakfast Sammy, which features Texas toast topped with lots of goodies (plus sriracha!), and the Apple Crumble Pancakes, which comes with apples in both a compote and a caramel sauce. Fresh fruits and flowers also make it into CRAFTkitchen’s rotating cocktails. Of note at the time of writing is the Lychee Martini, an elixir born of vodka, lemon juice, lychee pureé, regular lychee, and orchid.

But what do everyday folks think about CRAFTkitchen? We’re glad you asked. “[CRAFTkitchen] never disappoints!” one reviewer wrote on Yelp. Another went into more detail about their visit, writing, “I chose the Eggs Benedict with the smashed potatoes and a Chai Latte. Our food came out quickly and was very flavourful.” Chai with a good meal? We’re immediately sold.

10. North Italia

Yelp Rating: 4.2

Address: 1069 S Rampart Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89145 & 2235 Village View Dr., Henderson, NV 89052

Price: $$

Henderson Hours: Monday-Thursday: 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; Friday: 11 a.m.-11 p.m.; Saturday: 10 a.m.-11 p.m.; Sunday: 10 a.m.-10 p.m.

Las Vegas Hours: Monday-Friday: 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday: 10 a.m.-10 p.m.

Salve! We’ve made it to the end of the list, and we’ve saved a real treat for last. Enter North Italia, which is bringing really fresh Italian food to Henderson and Las Vegas—the type you might see in actual Italian homes and restaurants. In addition to using the freshest and highest-quality ingredients, this farm-to-table restaurant makes all of its own homemade pastas, taking its overall freshness rating up a notch. Some of the saliva-inducing dishes here include Roasted Butternut Squash Risotto, the Funghi pizza featuring fresh mushrooms, and the Ricotta Cavatelli featuring fresh seafood. North Italia also has limited-time desserts based on seasonal freshness, including the Pumpkin Praline Buttercake at the time of writing.

Like other Italian restaurants, North Italia is great for everyday dinners and special occasions. “Had a very nice birthday dinner here. The ambiance is open and lively. … The lasagna was amazing! Salad was scrumptious! Service was excellent and attentive!” one Yelp reviewer who ate at the Las Vegas location exclaimed. Some reviewers mention wishing the portion sizes were bigger, as well as wishing the music in the restaurant was quieter so they could enjoy their stay better. Overall, though, North Italia appears to be a staple farm-to-table restaurant in the area—and one that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. Ciao!
