These 10 Mexican restaurants serve the best pozole in Las Vegas
Whether it’s Rojo (red), blanco (white), or verde (green), pozole in Las Vegas has never been better than it is at these 10 Mexican restaurants.
With winter weather upon us, there’s no time like the present to warm up with a hearty bowl of pozole. Whether white (blanco), green (verde), or red (rojo), numerous Las Vegas restaurants serve this traditional Mexican stew.
A rich, savory broth, made with tender chicken or pork and hominy, pozole is often garnished with veggies like shredded lettuce or cabbage, chili peppers, onion, garlic, and radishes, as well as avocado and lime. Pozole blanco is the simplest version, prepared with a clear broth and pork. Pozole verde’s ingredients include tomatillos, cilantro, and green chiles. The red version, pozole rojo, attributes its blush to dried red chiles.
Pozole is a festive and celebratory dish, but it can be enjoyed any time of the year, day, or night. From sit-down restaurants to counter-serve eateries, here are 10 places to find pozole in Las Vegas.
