You’ll love the loaves at these 9 organic bakeries in Arizona

Craving organic pastries made with local ingredients? Discover nine favorite bakeries in Arizona, from brick-and-mortar shops to local pop-ups.

You know the feeling: the one you get when you walk into a local bakery and catch that first whiff of freshly baked pastries, hot coffee, and warm sourdough bread. Or when you take the first bite of a flaky chocolate croissant or a soft cranberry scone. Or maybe it’s the feeling of anticipation as you wait in line at the farmers market on a Saturday morning, scanning all the options and trying to figure out how you’ll possibly choose only one baked good, only to end up ordering at least three.

And while that feeling is hard to beat, it’s an even better feeling when you can enjoy your baked goods knowing that with every bite, you’re nourishing your body with organic and local ingredients.

And lucky for us, the Phoenix metro provides an oasis of organic bakeries to choose from, including brick-and-mortar shops, home bakeries, microbakeries, and pop-ups. Here are our nine favorites.
