Your Guide to the NFR Cowboy Christmas in Vegas

From shopping for Western wear to listening to live music, you’ll find plenty to do and see during NFR’s Cowboy Christmas at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) is celebrating its 40th anniversary in Las Vegas from Dec. 4 to 13, and that means it’s also time for the rodeo’s only official gift show, Cowboy Christmas.

Free and open to the public, Cowboy Christmas is a mammoth shopping event with about 375 exhibitors from throughout the United States, showcasing their wares daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Not only will vendors span two floors at the Las Vegas Convention Center, South Hall (parking is $15), but the gift show will also include interactive elements for all ages, like visits from Santa, autograph sessions, food, drinks, and live entertainment.

Whether you’re hoping to channel your inner cowboy or cowgirl or simply stop by to browse between rodeo events, there’s something for you at Cowboy Christmas 2025 in Las Vegas.

Win a shopping spree

This year’s gift show is presented by Pro Fantasy Rodeo, a leading fan engagement platform for Western sports. Awarding over $7 million in prizes over the past 20 years, the platform allows fans to build virtual teams of real NFR athletes and compete daily for cash and prizes based on live rodeo performance.

“Cowboy Christmas is synonymous with Las Vegas and the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo,” said LVE Vice President of Corporate Marketing Bo Gardner in a press release. “The addition of Pro Fantasy Rodeo … is a partnership based on our shared desire to grow the Western lifestyle and provide experiential connections with rodeo fans. Our attendees will be able to enjoy all of the unique elements of Cowboy Christmas during the day and then continue their engagement through Pro Fantasy Rodeo during the 10 days of the NFR.”

Pro Fantasy Rodeo will be giving away $500,000 in cash and prizes over the 10-day stretch, including a Cowboy Christmas shopping spree.

Do your Christmas shopping

Cowboy Christmas draws everyone from large companies like Wrangler and Stetson to small, family-owned businesses and traveling vendors. Exhibitors sell custom-made jewelry, western wear, boots, spurs, furniture, original art, handmade crafts, home goods, and more. It is considered the best place to find official Wrangler NFR and Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) merchandise.

In addition to Cowboy Christmas’ vendors, this year’s gift show will share space with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Expo.

With so many vendors to shop with across 500,000 square feet of show floor, it helps if you have a game plan.

In its Guide To The Must-Visit Booths for Cowboy Christmas 2025, Cowgirl Magazine makes the following suggestions:

  • You will be doing a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes.
  • Go early in the day, when it’s less crowded.
  • Keep a running list of booth numbers and brand names that catch your eye, so you can circle back.
  • Inquire about shipping.

To learn more about individual vendors and find their booth numbers, visit the NFR website, which lets you filter the vendors alphabetically. You can also print an exhibitor map.

Also, be aware that all food vendors are cashless.

Eat, drink, and be merry

This year’s event features daily entertainment at the Ariat Rodeo Live Stage, located on Level 2 of the South Hall next to food vendor, Bites and Brews. Shows on this stage include radio broadcaster and personality Storme Warren’s Storme Sessions, presented by American Hat Co., and Mic Drop from popular rodeo clown and barrelman Matt Merritt, as well as the Conserving Country variety show with host Shane Minor and a new show, RMEF Films.

Downstairs, the Cinch Cowboy Commons will incorporate the Rodeo Saloon and a stage for acoustic performances, podcasts, and a replay of the previous night’s NFR performance.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas without a visit from Santa. Jolly old Sain Nick will make daily appearances from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the festive Cowboy Christmas Village, sponsored by Clint Orms. Located in the South Hall on Level 2, this hall will be decked for the holiday with Christmas trees and photo walls. Not only can kids take photos with Santa, but they can also sit and write him a personal letter detailing their Christmas wishes, and drop it in a special mailbox.

Stop by the Wrangler Rodeo Arena

For its 10th year, the Junior National Finals Rodeo is moving into a specially-built tent in the Platinum Lot, adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center. With a seating capacity of more than 1,000 fans, the Wrangler Rodeo Arena will host a variety of events and competitions featuring 725 of the top youth contestants (19 years old and younger), including bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, girls and boys breakaway, team roping, tie-down roping, pole bending, and barrel racing.
