Many Mexican restaurants in Nevada offer deals on food and drinks for Cinco de Mayo. What better way to celebrate?

Cinco de Mayo is almost here! It’s time for Mexican food, margaritas, and mariachi at a Nevada restaurant.

In the Silver State, you’d be hard-pressed to find a restaurant not getting in on the festivities, with many offering special deals on food and drinks. 

If you’re wondering where to celebrate with some delicious savings, you’re in the right place. From Mexican restaurants inside Las Vegas resorts to local taco trucks in Reno, here are 16 Nevada spots offering tasty Cinco de Mayo specials you can’t miss.

Reno restaurants

Uno Más

Grand Sierra Resort (GSR), 2500 E. 2nd Street

Mexican food, margaritas, and mariachi are all on the Cinco de Mayo menu at Uno Más Street Tacos + Spirits May 4 and 5. The restaurant is serving up two-for-one margaritas, $5 signature shooters, and a special $28 dinner menu featuring salad, chicken breast smothered in the chef’s homemade mole sauce, rice, beans, queso fresco, and fresh tortillas.

The food and drink specials are available both nights starting at 5 p.m. A live mariachi band will add to the festivities from 6 to 9 p.m. on May 4.

Miguel’s Mexican Food

1415 S. Virginia Street and 13901 S. Virginia Street

Miguel’s Mexican Food doesn’t typically open its doors on Mondays, but the longtime local eatery is making an exception for Cinco de Mayo. Miguel’s is throwing a full-blown fiesta with fruity and traditional margaritas, as well as a full menu featuring 26 combination plates, available all day.

Daddy’s Tacos NV

4840 Mill Street, No. 8

Check out dancing, food, and fun at Daddy’s Tacos NV from 5 to 8 p.m. on May 5. The fiesta will feature folkloric dance, a DJ, vendors, and, of course, tacos! Patrons can spin the prize wheel to win taco merchandise and other prizes.

Red Rock Cafe & Sports Bar

210 Silver Lake Road

The family is invited to Red Rock Cafe & Sports Bar on Cinco de Mayo for drink specials and a piñata. Specials include $5 Modelo pints, $3 Corona Sunbrew, $6 specialty shots, and a $12 mix-and-match bucket of beer.

Schussboom Brewing Company

12245 South Virginia Street

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with EZ Mexican Lagers, micheladas, artisan Mexican pizzas, fries, and tots at Schussboom Brewing Company. Plus, enjoy 50 percent off margarita glasses and pitchers. The fresh strawberry margaritas are new.

El Dorado Cantina

Tivoli Village, 430 S. Rampart Boulevard

El Dorado Cantina is getting an early start on Cinco de Mayo with fun, food, and festivities for the whole family throughout the streets of Tivoli Village on May 3. The outdoor shopping center will be filled with vendors, beer and margarita gardens, entertainment, and activities from noon to 6 p.m., as the restaurant serves up taco and drink specials. Guests on the El Dorado Cantina patio will enjoy live music, including an acoustic soloist, DJs, and mariachi, starting at noon.

Pancho’s Mexican Restaurant  

Downtown Summerlin, 11020 Lavender Hill Drive

Cinco de Mayo brings cuatro días divertidos at Pancho’s Mexican Restaurant. From May 2 to 5, guests will enjoy live mariachi music, drink specials, and prizes. Drink specials include $10 specialty shots, while specialty cocktails range from $10 to $13. On Cinco de Mayo, Mexican draft beers are only $7. 

Giveaways will happen throughout the celebration, and a mariachi band will perform daily from noon to 5 p.m.

PT’s Taverns

Multiple locations in Las Vegas and Henderson

Neighborhood bar and restaurant PT’s Taverns is celebrating Cinco de Mayo May 1-5 at its locations throughout the city. Specials include $3 Dos Equis pints, $6 Casamigos and Cointreau margaritas, and an $8 shaved steak taco.

Throughout the month, PT’s Taverns is donating a portion of sales of Dos Equis pints and certain Heineken products to the Southern Nevada Conservancy to help protect and preserve Nevada’s public lands.

El Segundo Sol

Fashion Show Mall, 3200 S. Las Vegas Boulevard

Shop and celebrate this Cinco de Mayo with a full weekend of food and beverage specials, entertainment, and activities at El Segundo Sol from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. from May 2 to 5.  The special menu includes a $10 Mexican Candy Margarita, $15 Mango Michelada, and Tacos al Pastor for $22.95.

Viva! by Ray Garcia 

Resorts World, 3000 S. Las Vegas Boulevard

Every new day is spicier than the next during the festive three-day Cinco de Mayo extravaganza at Viva! by Ray Garcia, May 3 through 5.

The celebration begins on Saturday with a Cinco de Mayo brunch featuring salsa dancers, live music, and airbrush tattoo stations from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Sunday, the event will showcase food and beverage specials prepared by the award-winning chef. Lunch and mariachi are on the menu Monday from noon to 1 p.m. For dinner, Viva will host a ticketed dinner celebration with live Mariachi, DJ, and menu pairings with Corona beer.

Soulbelly BBQ

1327 S. Main Street

Kick off Cinco de Mayo early with Sunday Funday on the SoulBelly patio from noon to 5 p.m. on May 4 with a live DJ, Telsón Tequila cocktails, and Mango Margaritas in 20-oz souvenir cups.

Henderson restaurants

Borracha Mexican Cantina

Green Valley Ranch, 2300 Paseo Verde Parkway

Borracha Mexican Cantina hosts a Cinco de Mayo Party from 4 to 11 p.m. on May 5 with live music, drink specials, and authentic cuisine. A mariachi band will start things out from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a DJ until 11 p.m. Drink specials include a handcrafted Mango Margarita with Espolon Tequila and a Spicy Paloma with Espolon Blanco.

Juan’s Flaming Fajitas & Cantina

16 S. Water Street, Henderson

Raise your glass to Cinco de Mayo at Juan’s Flaming Fajitas & Cantina May 1 through 5, where drink specials include a $16 bucket of Corona Extra, $4 select draft beers, $8 select shots, and a $6 margarita. There will also be plenty of delicious Mexican food!

Hussong’s Cantina

3440 St. Rose Parkway

As the home of the original margarita, Hussong’s Cantina is offering $5 margaritas for Cinco de Mayo (May 3 through 5). Festivities include rock and roll mariachi music, Mexican food, a loco sombrero contest, and more. 

Chicken N Pickle

3381 St. Rose Parkway

Part-restaurant, part-pickleball venue Chicken N Pickle promises three days of festive fun, delicious deals, and family-friendly activities for Cinco de Mayo.

From May 2 through 5, adult patrons will enjoy a variety of drink specials, like Mexican Candy shots and Pacifico buckets. Kids (ages 12 and under) will have a smashing time at a Piñata Party on May 4. Cinco de Mayo brings the Ultimate Monday Mash-Up, which includes a Taco Tuesday deal on a Monday and double loyalty points.

Slater’s 50/50

In the spirit of sharing and Cinco de Mayo, Slater’s 50/50 has a Five for 50 Cinco de Mayo special that’s perfect for splitting. For $50, patrons share an appetizer, two burgers, and two beers.
