Nevada’s reality TV stars: Where are they now?

The current lives of these Nevada reality stars may surprise you!

Let’s be honest, we are all fans of reality TV. Whether we watch it out of fascination or a need for entertainment, the stars of these shows can draw us in and keep us coming back for more. From competition shows to lifestyle reality binges, these stars experienced a moment of fame that made them a household name.

When you look back on reality TV shows that used to rule your world, you may wonder, “Where are they now?” Some maintained their stardom, while others fell from grace. Whether they are still in the spotlight or living a quiet life, these are some of Nevada’s reality TV stars and where they are now. They may surprise you!

Chumlee, Pawn Stars

The legend of the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop and its beloved reality show, Pawn Stars, lives on, although the show is no longer on the air. Austin Lee Russell, also known as Chumlee, was one of the show’s most beloved characters

Known for his goofy quips, Chumlee still provides bits of comedy online through his Instagram and TikTok accounts. He also works with Rick Harrison on the popular podcast, Pawn After Dark, which gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at what unfolded on the show.

If you visit the shop, you’ll notice a business called Chumlee’s Candy on the Boulevard. The candy store is open daily right next door to the pawn shop. If you’re looking to immerse yourself in the Pawn Stars universe, Chumlee has made it an easy task to accomplish.

Rick Harrison, Pawn Stars

Pawn Stars was a staple in Nevada reality TV. Working alongside Chumlee, Rick co-founded the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop with his father in the 80s. The Las Vegas establishment was famous both locally and worldwide following the show.

Rick has been through a lot since the show ended. Tragically, he lost his son, Adam, to an overdose, and his mother, Joanne, not long after. Through his losses, Rick maintained a positive mindset as much as he could.

Now, he keeps his fans updated on his Instagram account. The shop is still open, and he often posts clips from the show to his feed. He is the co-host of Pawn After Dark, the podcast he works on with his co-star, Chumlee.

Jacqueline Laurita, The Real Housewives of New Jersey

She may be best known for her time in New Jersey, but Jacqueline Laurita was born in Las Vegas. When her time on The Real Housewives of New Jersey came to a close, she and her family made the move back to Nevada. Once she was back in the state, she became a fixture in the community.

She worked in the community for Autism awareness with her son, Nicholas. Her Instagram is filled with resources for fellow parents of neurodivergent kids. Her love for her son is loud and clear online. She is also a parent to her other son, CJ, and a daughter, Ashlee. Jacqueline is a grandmother! Ashlee and her former husband welcomed a child together in 2016.

She and her husband, Chris Laurita, are still together. They eventually left Nevada for Orange County, California, in 2023. She is the proud parent of a miniature Australian shepherd and corgi mix, Rocky. She keeps everyone up-to-date on her daily life online.

Maggie Ausburn, Big Brother

Maggie Ausburn was one of the original Big Brother contestants. She appeared on and won the show’s sixth season. She and her alliance faced some controversy on the show, and it shaped where she is today.

Now, Maggie stays out of the public eye. Tracking her down is nearly impossible. She doesn’t seem to have a public social media presence. After displaying a whole summer of her life on TV, she has decided to keep her post-win life out of the spotlight.

Haley and Emily Ferguson, The Bachelor

Twins Haley and Emily Ferguson made waves on the 20th season of The Bachelor. While neither was chosen by Ben Higgins, they would go on to be featured on Bachelor in Paradise. But they did not find the loves of their lives on TV.

Instead, both Haley and Emily went on to marry men they met off-screen. Haley married professional hockey player Oula Palve and welcomed a daughter with him in 2024 named Lovi. Emily tied the knot with a hockey player, William Karlsson, a beloved star on the Vegas Golden Knights. They have two sons, Becks and Lars.

Haley and Emily are as close as ever. They even have a shared Instagram account. They also have a popular podcast called Twinning at Life.

Tierra LiCausi, The Bachelor

Tierra was one of the most controversial Bachelor stars. She was known for constantly butting heads with her fellow contestants while fighting for the love of Sean Lowe. She was eliminated, and following her behavior on the show, she put all of her social media profiles on private to avoid backlash. It’s been over a decade since she was on the show, and her accounts remain private.

Tierra got engaged in 2013, but called it off quickly. From her Instagram bio, it appears that she is now married and has one daughter. She has evidently decided to leave her time in the spotlight behind her.

Heather Bilyeu Altman, Million Dollar Listing

Heather Bileyu Altman and her husband, Josh Altman, were staples on the hit Bravo show, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. Originally from Vegas, Heather and Josh stepped away from the show before its 15th season.

According to her Instagram account, the couple is still going strong. They are proud parents to two children, a boy and a girl, as well as owners of a pup. She keeps her fans updated with adorable family pictures of their constant outings.

Heather still resides in Southern California and continues to work in real estate. From Newport Beach to Beverly Hills, she is still a force in the Southern California housing market. Josh became the National Spokesperson for Home Value Lock, where Heather occasionally assists him.

Brandon Tindel, Are You the One?

Brandon Tindel found love on MTV’s popular reality show, Are You the One. He was a perfect match with Briana. However, she didn’t feel that he was. It’s not surprising that the pair are not together today.

It’s also no surprise that Brandon went on to compete in other MTV reality shows like The Challenge. He was only featured on two episodes of the third rival season before he chose to step away. He was facing homesickness. Since his second appearance on TV, Brandon has kept a low profile, though he occasionally posts photos of himself on Instagram

Jaclyn Misch, Survivor

Jaclyn was the runner-up during Survivor’s 29th season. She played the game alongside her husband, Jonathan Misch. The couple is still happily together. They have one child, a son named Logan. After struggling with fertility, Jaclyn became an IVF/surrogacy advocate.

She has also dealt with the heartbreaking loss of her father to brain cancer. She has since dedicated her life to spreading brain cancer awareness in his honor. They currently live in Detroit, Michigan.

Mirage Amuro, RuPaul’s Drag Race

A few drag queens who perform in Nevada have been on RuPaul’s Drag Race, but Mirage was born and raised in Vegas. She had a heartbreaking elimination early in the show’s 16th season after being a fan favorite. However, exiting early didn’t stop her career from blossoming.

She performed in RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! show at the Flamingo and the TV show, RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! Untucked that followed. She continues to wow fans, going viral for her incredible and entertaining performances online.

Is Mirage done with TV? It doesn’t seem like it. She recently hinted that she would love to appear on an upcoming season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars. She has toured across the world and is not slowing down—she recently made an appearance at the Latin Grammy Awards.
