Step up to the plate and try these weird foods sold at Chase Field
How about those Diamondbacks? Since the D-backs went to the World Series last season, interest in the team hasn’t been this high in quite a while. Fortunately, baseball fans attending games at Chase Field in downtown Phoenix will have plenty of tasty eats to sink their teeth into while they watch the game. Stadium food has come a long way since the days of “buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack,” although you can still buy those basic snacks too.
Here are seven weird but wonderful food offerings you can enjoy at your next Diamondbacks home game, many of which are new.
World-famous Churro Dog
Largely considered to be one of Chase Field’s signature offerings, the Churro Dog is a pretty epic dessert. This sugar-rich dessert features a long john chocolate glazed donut topped with a churro, frozen yogurt, and white whipped cream that’s drizzled with both caramel and chocolate. The creation resembles a hot dog that’s all sugary goodness instead of the classic ballpark snack. If you have a sweet tooth, this should more than satisfy you.
Barbacoa Beef Souvenir Helmet
Who needs a souvenir cup if you can get a souvenir helmet? When you order the Barbacoa Beef Souvenir Helmet, you get a plastic helmet filled with barbacoa (a traditional Mexican dish made with beef or lamb that’s cooked to be tasty and very tender), nacho cheese, pickled red onions, sliced pickled jalapenos, pico de gallo, black beans, and avocado crema that makes for one colorful and delicious site. If you’re with a large group, this should be more than plenty for most of you.
XL Footlong Sonoran Style Dog
If you’re looking to devour an epic ballpark hot dog, this XL Footlong Sonoran Style Dog will more than fill you up. We appreciate this local take on this classic stadium offering. First, this dish starts with a whopping half-pound Nathan’s hot dog that’s served on a toasted New England roll. The hot dog is then topped with ranch beans, smoked bacon, pico de gallo, mustard, and mayo to give it a true Southwestern spin.
Apple Pie Chimichanga
The Apple Pie Chimichanga made its debut in the 2023 World Series. Chimichangas are, essentially, deep-fried burritos. What makes this one unique is that it’s a sweet take on this Mexican dish, which tends to be savory. Baseball gamegoers can indulge in an apple pie burrito that’s served with vanilla frozen yogurt, whipped cream, Cracker Jacks, and then dusted with cinnamon and sugar.
Kiltlifter Beer Bratwurst
Are you a fan of bar food? If so, this Kiltlifter Beer Bratwurst will be right up your alley. Kilt Lifer is a popular amber ale from Arizona-based brewery, Four Beaks Brewing Co. This brat is topped with bacon kraut and then drizzled with yellow pub mustard. It’s served on a savory pretzel roll over a bed of crinkle-cut fries.

Millionaire Steak Sandwich
This is another dish that arrived at Chase Field during last year’s World Series. The Millionaire Steak Sandwich is piled high with beef tenderloin medallions and then seasoned with black truffle cheese sauce, cremini mushrooms and garlic aioli. The entire creation is served on a brioche hoagie roll.
Korean Pork Belly Nachos
These Korean Pork Belly Nachos are a creative take on traditional nachos. Baseball fans can dip wonton chips into an inventive mix of pork belly bacon, gochujang spiked cheese sauce, quick kimchee, pickled red onion, and scallions. Looking for Asian spice? This dish more than delivers.

Chase Field also serves dishes that are tailor-made for fans of the opposing team. For instance, when the Anaheim Angels come to town from June 11 to 13, the stadium will dish out an Elote-Man Dog.
